After a long and restfull sleep I start my hike along the river.
It reminds me a lot of New Zealand!
Many stunning waterfalls are visible on the left and right bank of the river.
I walk through oceans of farn and often I can not see the ground but just feel the path with my feet.
I have quite a lot rests at cosy small wooden huts and picknick places. Most of them were built for the fisherman that drive up the river in hope to catch some salmon.
Again Mosquitos everywhere.. Not so bad while walking but they are eating me alive while resting!
The tough first two days made an imapact on my legs and they feel tiered today and demand an early stop!
Shortly after the trail joins the road at Sarelv I reach the Sarafossen.
A short climb up and the powerfull waterfall is becoming visible. A few hundred meter further up from the tourist look out there is a spot called Sarafossen øvre, which makes up for a perfect campsite!
Washing, laundry, cooking and then after whatching the waterfall from up top going to bed early!
Tomorrow will start with a climb up leading to the finish mountains!
