It was a wonderful decision to not camp tonight! It was stormy till today’s morning.
We sleep a bit longer to wait for the weather to calm down and start today’s hike at around 7am.
We do not want to do the detour to Stein since we have everything we need and try to find the direct route to pfunders. We fail horrible and walk half an hour in the wrong direction.
After we figured that out and back on the right path we climb up the Gliederschartl. It’s freezing cold up here and the sun is still not out.
It feels weird having July but walking through small snow fields!
We descend fast, have a rest at Obere Engelbergalm and arrive in Pfunders just before the village shop opens at 15:30.
We find everything we need and continue with the next section hoping that we will find a cosy place to pitch up the tent.
On the grassy areas we finally see some wildlife.
After a long road walk we find a spot to camp on a unused farm field shortly behind Niedervintl hidden behind some trees.
Somehow my lighter stopped working so no warm dinner today…
